The Trip Committee is excited to announce plans for the Spring 2027 Hiking Club trip. Hiking will take place in the Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, and Greer areas of Arizona’s beautiful White Mountains.
Planned hiking dates are April 13, 14, and 15, 2027.
If you enjoy pine forests, lakes, mountain meadows, cooler temperatures, and less-crowded trails, this trip may be for you. The White Mountains region sits at elevations ranging from approximately 6,000 to over 9,000 feet and offers hundreds of miles of trails through the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest.
Jim Solon will serve as Hike Leader. Kathleen Bell and Dale Leman will serve as Trip Co-Leaders.
Additional details, including lodging information and hike sign-up procedures, will be announced in coming months through email to all members. A folder for all information pertaining to this trip has been set up for your ongoing reference in the website Documents library and is titled, “2027 White Mountains Trip”.
